Itinerary

Day 01

meeting in Marrakech

The first day, we get together in a first meeting for the whole group to discuss in more details the organization, the logistics and the departure time of the following day.

Day 02

Marrakech – Telouat- Ait Benhaddou

After breakfast, we will leave Marrakech by car to get to our final destination “the high Atlas“.

Day 03

Ait Benhaddou- Tamnougalt- Zagora

After breakfast, we will discover the castle of Ait Ben Haddou and visit places where famous movies like Gladiator, Game of Thrones… were shot. Afterward, we will return to the vehicle and depart to Zagora.

Day 04

Zagora- Tamgroute- Chigaga

After breakfast, we will drive to Tamgroute: a small village that is known to have been one of the most important religious and spiritual site in the South East Morocco . We will attend ceramic workshops and observe the locals making their famous pottery. We will then continue driving to EL-Mhamid where we will have lunch and experience camel riding. The rest of the afternoon will be devoted to another adventure of crossing the desert by 4X4 to attend the sand dunes of Chigaga where we will spend the night camping.

Day 05

Chigag- Foum Zguid

Those of us who can afford to wake up very early in the morning will enjoy the sunrise from the top of a sand dune, then we will come back to have breakfast in our camp. After that, we will go for a real adventure crossing sand dune to other side by 4X4.

Day 06

Foum Zguid- Taroudant

After breakfast, we will drive on a comfortable road along valleys and gorges till Taznakht, where it suddenly becomes mostly flat and empty till the beautiful city of Taroudant known as little Marrakech. We will spend the night in a Riad.

Day 07

Taroudant- Agadir- Essaouira

This morning immediately after breakfast, we will enjoy exploring the city. We will explore its main carpet workshops and souks, then we leave to Agadir on the cost where we may have our lunch. Afterward, we drive along the cost and enjoy some amazing views all the way down to Essaouira.

Day 08

Explore- Essaouira

After enjoying our breakfast, we will walk from our stay to explore the medina of Essaouira, we will see the old Jewish quarter, identigy different craft of the city, visit the port and fresh fish market. The visit usually takes 2h30 and ends by lunch time. You will be free to spend the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 09

Essaouira – Marrakech

We have planned a late departure today. We will check in our Riad in Marrakech after a a three-hour drive. The group members can have some free time till dinner time when we will get together again to enjoy our last meal together. Our services ends after dinner that night. However, we are happy to assist you to organize the next activities at your convenience.
